After the last snowfall a few days ago a lot of people despaired of ever shedding their winter coats, but we’re getting to spring. I can feel it, I can see it!
I’m always so happy when I receive good feedback! Thank you @thebirchtrail! And thank you @etsymtl for organizing a great event last week-end. This was my last show of the year. It is still possible to get pieces from me at selected retail locations. If you are interested, follow the link in my bio and look up stockists.
There is a very nice ceramics exhibition at the Georges Vanier Cultural center right now.
The Nature Imprint products are now available at Sonia Imbeault’s store in my neighborhood!
I am so sad this morning. The mature trees that always brought a smile to my face during my daily bike ride to and from the studio have all been cut down. City officials say we have to plant more trees to combat heat islands in the city and then do the exact opposite. We have enough space in this city, will all the barely used back alleys and empty grassy areas, to create cool areas almost everywhere but I don’t know if it’ll happen anytime soon.
My firing turned out OK! I’m so glad!
Well ok. Maybe I did push my luck a little bit with the old thermocouples. I just read in the manual that they are good for about 30 firings…I must have used them for at least 60 firings. Now my kiln is ready to go. I should have new work coming out soon!
